Abbotsford, B.C.
Cascade Aerospace's 250,000-square-foot facility at Abbotsford B.C. is designed and
equipped to save you time and money. We created
this facility, which accommodates eight narrow-body
aircraft at once, to ensure maximum efficiency in every
maintenance process - enabling faster turn times
and near perfect dispatch reliability.
Our location at the Abbotsford International Airport means that
we're conveniently close to Boeing and a strong community of
aerospace vendors. This helps saves time and money in securing
parts and people to complete jobs quickly.
Built in 2000, the facility's built-in efficiencies include:
-
Work cell design that maximizes productivity by
locating air, power, equipment, tools and resources in appropriate
zones
-
On-dock computers for quick access to technical
documents and parts ordering
-
Automated tool and part delivery to the shop
floor at 35 feet per second
-
Bar-coded time and materials management system
-
Vending machines that allocate consumables to each job
-
Custom-designed fixed docks that accommodate all
narrow-body Boeing and Airbus models
-
Overhead cranes for easy removal of engines, tails and
stabilizers
-
In-dock painting
-
