Customs Requirements

For On-Site Customer Representatives

If you are a non-Canadian On-site Customer Representative coming to Cascade, entry into Canada is easy. Simply follow the steps below to apply for a Letter of Invitation:

If you are a non-Canadian visitor (not including On-site Customer Representatives) coming to Cascade for a business meeting, a Letter of Invitation from Cascade Aerospace is not required.

1) Prior to your entry into Canada, apply for a Letter of Invitation from Cascade Aerospace

To apply for a Letter of Invitation from Cascade Aerospace, please complete a Letter of Invitation Details Form and submit it to Cascade Aerospace as noted on the form. (Please allow two week days for processing.)

2) Take appropriate documentation with you

As a customer representative for your company, you will enter Canada under the Business Visitor provision of the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). As a Business Visitor to Canada, you will need the following documentation to enter Canada:

  • Your Letter of Invitation from Cascade Aerospace
    (Please note this letter does not guarantee admission, but will provide a general background for processing at the border)
  • Sufficient identification (personal) for citizenship/identity (passport and/or drivers licence)
  • Company identification (photo and/or business cards)


3) Select a Border Crossing


When entering Canada from the United States of America, the Sumas border crossing is typically the quickest and closest border crossing to Abbotsford and Cascade Aerospace.
