CASCADE AEROSPACE ANNOUNCES C-130 SUPPORT
SERVICES ORGANIZATION “HERC
SOLUTIONS”

Cascade Aerospace, a leading Canadian aerospace supplier of
maintenance, repair and overhaul services today announced the
creation of Herc Solutions – a commercially competitive
C-130 Hercules aircraft engineering and maintenance
organization. Herc Solutions brings the expertise of
the prime contractor, Cascade Aerospace, together with Marshall
Aerospace, the world’s foremost expert in C-130
engineering and maintenance; Derco Aerospace, the
world’s leading supplier of C-130/L 100 spares and
component repair and overhaul; and Standard Aero,
DND’s C-130 propulsion
maintenance contractor and C-130 T-56 technical publications
provider.
“Four world-leading companies have joined forces to
create one cohesive C-130 engineering and maintenance organization
structured for the specific purpose of leveraging leading-edge
‘best practices’ to realize extraordinary
value to customers”, said David Schellenberg, Herc
Solutions spokesperson and President of Cascade Aerospace.
Herc Solutions is currently working to prepare a comprehensive
proposal in response to the Department of National
Defence’s (DND’s) recent RFP to identify a
provider of Optimized Weapon System Management for its fleet of 32
C-130 Hercules aircraft. “Our C-130 support
solution will provide a unique opportunity to grow
Canada’s defence industrial base and further develop
Canada’s expertise in engineering, maintenance, and
materiel solutions to support Canada’s C-130
fleet”, continued Schellenberg.
Herc Solutions is headquartered at Cascade
Aerospace’s state-of-the-art, 250,000 square foot,
purpose-built maintenance facility in Abbotsford, British
Columbia.
